Our take
Gold BJJ lists a 275 GSM jacket and 10 oz ripstop pants. The low weight makes the Aeroweave a training option for warm gyms and travel. The brand offers women's and kids' cuts alongside its unisex range.
Gold BJJ explicitly says the Aeroweave is no longer IBJJF legal following the 2024 Worlds rule change. For IBJJF juvenile, adult and master divisions, jackets must be 380–650 GSM. The gi must also meet the current colour, construction, label and fit requirements.
Pre-shrunk fabric can still shrink. Use the size chart for your chosen cut and follow the manufacturer's care instructions.
